ZonoLead is a lead management service built and operated in Nairobi, Kenya ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

When you request a demo or a call back

We collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, company, sales team size, country, your message, and whether you want to hear about WhatsApp lead capture. With it we record the page you sent it from, the page that referred you to us and any campaign details (such as utm_source) in the link you arrived by.

We use it to contact you about ZonoLead: to call you back, arrange a demo and answer your questions, and, if you asked, to tell you when WhatsApp lead capture is available. Campaign details tell us which of our campaigns bring people to us. We keep your request while we are in touch about ZonoLead, and delete it when you ask us to or once it is no longer needed.

When you browse this website

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers whether you closed the announcement bar, keeps campaign details for the length of your visit, and counts visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data. The cookie policy has the details.

When you use the ZonoLead dashboard

Your own account. We keep your name, email address, role and organization, your password (hashed, never in plain text), and a record of the lead data you open and change (the audit log your organization's admins can see). We use them to run your account, keep it secure and send you service emails, such as alerts about leads waiting for a response.

Your organization's leads. Your organization decides which leads, contacts and notes to store in ZonoLead. We process them only on its behalf, to provide the service, under our terms of service. If you are one of our customer's leads, please contact that organization first about your data. Our security page describes how each organization's data is kept apart.

We keep account and lead data while the account is open. When an organization closes its account, we delete its data as our terms describe.

Who sees your data

Our team sees it only when needed to provide the service, support you or keep the service secure. It is stored with the service providers that host ZonoLead and send its emails, who may only use it to provide their service to us. Some of them may store data outside Kenya; when they do, we make sure it stays protected as Kenyan law requires.

We do not sell personal data, and we share it with nobody else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, and you can withdraw any consent you gave. Email info@zonolead.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes

We will update this page when how we handle personal data changes, and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data we already hold, we will tell the people it concerns.
